Williams, a Youtuber with an early aging disorder died at the age of 15. Diagnosed with Benjamin Button syndrome or Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome when she was three months old. The news came from her social media account. “January 12, 2022, at 7 pm Adalia Rose Williams was set free from this world. She came into it quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from it”. Her family informed the world, thanking for the support and informing that they will mourn in private.
According to a 2018 interview, her mother Natalia Pallante told that the average life expectancy for people with this condition was 13 years. Additionally, she also suffered from symptoms such as lack of body fat, dwarfism, joint, and muscle stiffness. “When Adalia was born, I think she was like a month old, and [the doctors] weren’t happy with her growth. That was one of the symptoms that first popped up and then it was also that the skin on her tummy tight and just different looking,” she explained.
“She touched MILLIONS of people and left the biggest imprint on everyone that knew her. She is no longer in pain and is now dancing away to all the music she loves. I wish this wasn’t our reality but unfortunately, it is. We want to say thank you to everyone that loved and supported her. Thank you to all her doctors and nurses that worked for YEARS to keep her healthy,” stated the message.

Thousands of people on social media reacted to the message with their condolences. Designer Michael Costello also expressed his sadness. Costello had designed Willliams’ dresses from her 13th birthday, back in 2019. “My heart is broken. I received a message at 7 pm last night, Adalia Rose Williams was called home to God. I am at a loss for words and cannot stop crying. Adalia has been so special to every single person that she met. She was an angel,” wrote the designer.
“Despite the cards, she was dealt with, she had the most positive attitude and such big dreams of helping everyone around her. I love you so much Adalia. Words cannot convey how much you’ve changed my life. I will miss you dearly, friend, and I promise to cherish all the wonderful memories we’ve had together,” he added, expressing his grief. Apart from outliving her life expectancy, the teen inspired millions of people. She started vlogging in 2012 about everything from her health condition to make-up and fashion tutorials on social media.
