SpaceX will land humans on Mars in ten years: Elon Musk

Have you ever imagined humans living on Mars? How exciting will life be on the red planet? Is it even possible to start a life there? Tesla owner Elon Musk believes it is possible. Well, Elon Musk claims SpaceX will land humans on Mars with its Starship rocket in 10 years, in the worst-case scenario. Fridman asked Musk when he thinks SpaceX will land humans on Mars in an episode of the Lex Fridman Podcast released on Tuesday. “Best case is about five years, worst case is about ten years,” the billionaire said after a 20-second pause.

According to Musk, one of the deciding characteristics was “engineering the vehicle,” adding that “Starship is the most complex and advanced rocket that has ever been made.” Currently, no one can fly to Mars for a trillion dollars, according to Musk, who told Fridman. “There is no amount of money that can buy you a ticket to Mars.” “The fundamental optimization of Starship is minimizing the cost per ton to orbit and ultimately cost per ton to the surface of Mars,” Musk told Fridman.

The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla has anticipated several dates for his company’s arrival and landing on Mars. Musk asserted in a February interview on the audio app Clubhouse that it will take “five and a half years” for a crewed mission of SpaceX’s Starship rocket to land on Mars. He tweeted in March that his aerospace company’s Starship rockets would land on Mars “well before” 2030. If things don’t go precisely as scheduled during the three continuing launch opportunities before 2026. It could take longer than he foretells. Musk eventually intends to build 1,000 Starship rockets and blast off three of them per day to send one million people to Mars.
