Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 15 series was released in numerous countries on Friday (Sep 22), and within hours, customers were flocking to social media platforms to voice a host of complaints about their recently purchased gadgets. A half-dozen difficulties were reported by a huge number of consumers, ranging from scratches to overheating and from durability to software bugs. Here are some of the most commonly reported issues that iPhone 15 series owners are encountering.
The device becomes overheated
iPhone 15 series mobile phones are said to be quite hot. According to Mashable, the devices had thermal difficulties while charging, shooting 4K videos, and engaging in intense gaming sessions. According to research, phones can get so hot that holding them in your hands becomes painful. This issue, according to specialists, can be resolved with a software update. Some speculate that the issue is caused by manufacturing concessions made to “achieve a lighter weight.”
Blemishes
Dirt, fingerprints, and other flaws were reportedly visible on an otherwise gleaming titanium body, according to several users. Display alignment issues have also been noted by certain users. Users who are experiencing these issues are recommended to return their devices to retailers so that they can be repaired.
Problems with durability
Despite the fact that the new iPhones are made of titanium, a more durable metal than steel, the devices are experiencing durability concerns. Some argue that these phones are too easily broken.
The problem with freezing
When attempting to transfer data from prior iPhones, a few unlucky iPhone 15 customers saw an Apple logo boot-up loop. Fortunately, Apple quickly resolved this issue. They issued an iOS update on the day of the launch, addressing the issue for affected consumers. Those purchasing a new iPhone 15 will have the opportunity to upgrade to the most recent iOS version during setup. If customers become trapped in the loop, they may simply reset their device and upgrade to the new iOS, allowing them to continue with the setup easily.
Problem with color
“It appears that some units of the iPhone 15 Pro are defective. The coloring was not applied evenly, furthermore, the screen seems not to be perfectly aligned with the edges,” read a post shared by Twitter user Majin Bu. But soon, other users cited an Apple article to dismiss these claims. “For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the oil from your skin might temporarily alter the color of the outside band. Wiping your iPhone with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth will restore the original look,” the company had said.
