More than 100 million people have subscribed to Google One since its launch in 2018, gaining access to extra storage and advanced features in Google Photos, Meet, and Calendar. And now, Google has announced the Google One AI Premium plan, which includes access to Google Gemini Advanced, a new experience powered by 1.0 Ultra, our largest and most capable AI model currently available.
How to use Gemini in Gmail and Docs with the new Google One plan?
Google is adding even more value to the Google One AI Premium plan with Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Meet (formerly Duet AI).
Users will be able to access Gemini capabilities directly from within the Google products they already use, allowing them to complete more tasks without switching between tabs or apps. For example, users can get assistance with writing a potluck invitation in Gmail, drafting a trip itinerary in Docs, creating a family budget in Sheets, or creating a vision board for a kitchen remodel in Slides.
“Our long-standing commitments to user data protection and privacy remain central to everything we do at Google Workspace. We will not use your personal or business Workspace data to train or improve the underlying generative AI and large language models that power other systems without your permission. You can learn more about our core privacy principles for the generative AI era,” Google said in a blog.
Google Gemini: ‘AI Premium Plan’
Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Meet will be available to AI Premium Plan members in over 150 countries in English. AI Premium members also get access to Gemini Advanced, 2TB of storage, and other Google One benefits for $19.99 per month.
