All about the Apple event ‘California Streaming’
Apple is hosting the biggest event of the year, dubbed ‘California streaming’. The event highlights the launch of several awaited Apple products including a brand new iPad, iPad mini, and the iPhone 13. You can catch it live on Apple’s official website or Apple’s YouTube channel. Moreover, those with Apple devices can open the Safari browser and stream the event on Apple’s website directly. Additionally, Amazon, Airtel, and Flipkart are streaming the Apple event on their websites to make more sales. Here are the major releases this year.
Apple iPhone 13
The Apple iPhone 13 is finally here. The phone comes with a new sleek look. The camera is one of the major improvements from its predecessor. Not only are the lenses arranged vertically, but the camera also has a great low-light performance in both the regular and mini versions of the phone. It also comes with a ‘cinematic mode’ that keeps the subject in focus even if the subject or camera moves. The ‘cinematic mode’ can be easily described as a portrait mode for videos. The iPhone 13, with its special custom sensor, shoots high clarity videos in Dolby Vision HDR.
The new iPhone uses the A15 Bionic chipset. The phone is not only backed by a six-core CPU-two high performance and four efficiency cores. It also comes with a 16-core neutral engine and 4-core GPU making machine learning easier than ever. The new Apple iPhones have a brightness of 1200 nits and an XDR display giving you a richer, smoother, and brighter experience than ever before.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 13 Mini with a 5.4-inch display and iPhone 13 with a 6.1-inch display starting from $699 and $799, respectively. There are three storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max
Apple also revealed the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. The pro series has an astonishing 120 Hz ProMotion refresh rate, one of the best in today’s market. The Pro and Pro Max have a larger battery capacity than their predecessors. The iPhone 13 Pro lasts 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro while the 13 Pro Max outperforms its ancestor by 2.5 hours. According to Apple, the iPhone 13 Pro series will have the best graphics in a smartphone, ever.
The Pro series of the iPhone 13 comes with a wicked camera and an additional ProRes video feature at 4K 30p. The phone is bound in stainless steel and is resistant to both dust and water (IP68). The iPhone 13 Pro will be out in four new exciting colors- gold and sierra blue. You can get your hands on the iPhone 13 Pro starting at $999 and 13 Pro Max from $1099 onwards. The storage variants range from 128 GB to 1TB. Preorders for both phones start from September 17.
A new entry level iPad and brand new iPad mini
The 9th generation of Apple’s entry-level iPad is finally launching. Additionally, the Apple event also saw a major design refresh for the iPad mini. While the iPad stays at a 10.2-inch display, it now comes with True Tone to adjust screen color temperature to the ambient lighting. Additionally, it is powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chip. The iPad also has a brand new processor and Neural Engine to enhance its performance. On the other than, the iPad mini now comes in an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, a huge upgrade from its previous version.
The 122-degree field of view and 12-megapixel cameras only enhance the new devices. The iPad retains the Touch ID home button. Additionally, it also supports the first generation Apple pencil and several apple accessories including the smart keyboard. The new iPad starts at $4329 and the iPad mini is priced from $499 onwards.
Apple watch Series 7
The new Apple Watch Series 7 is here with a larger display, IP6X water, and dust resistance, and a $399 price tag to boot its new features. So, you can finally wear your Apple watch to a swim or shower without fear. The new Apple Watch has 40 percent thinner bezels with softer and rounded corners.
The display is brighter and larger than ever before ad the watch itself comes in five new eye-catching colors. The Apple watch’s new screen geometry makes it more crack resistant. The front crystal glass alone is 50 percent thicker than series 8. The device comes with a ‘Quick Path’ keyboard that uses machine learning.
