Free Twitter can come to an end soon but only for commercial and government users. On Tuesday, Elon Musk said that the free Twitter accessibility will continue for casual users but some others might have to pay. “Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial/government users,” Musk said in a tweet.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has recommended a flurry of changes to Twitter since last month. He is constantly working to come up with some changes or the other to enhance user experience. He is also willing to provide a platform for freedom of speech. After recently adding the firm to his basket, Musk stated that he intends to expand the platform with new features. The features could be making the algorithms open source to build confidence, eliminating spam bots, and authenticating all humans.
Musk wishes for more people to use Twitter
Musk proposed improvements to Twitter Blue’s premium subscription service in tweets that were later deleted. It included lowering the price, prohibiting advertising, and allowing users to pay in dogecoin. He also told the banks that he hoped to build features to boost corporate revenue; such as new ways to profit from tweets that contain critical information or go viral.
At the Met Gala in New York on Monday, Musk said the reach of Twitter was currently only a “niche.” He would want a much bigger percentage of the country to be on it. Furthermore, according to recent sources, Parag Agrawal could soon be replaced by someone else after the completion of the Twitter deal. Elon Musk also intends to remove Vijaya Gadde, the head of Twitter’s legal department.
