TikTok Kitchens to soon bring viral culinary creations near you

TikTok and Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC) are teaming up to launch TikTok Kitchens, a delivery service that will cook the trendiest recipes shown on the platform. The partners are going to launch around 300 locations across the US but plan on expanding it to a thousand by the end of next year.

What is TikTok Kitchens all about?

“Working with the team at TikTok on development of the menu and the whole vibe of this brand has been so energizing, and I am thrilled to reveal our newest VDC concept today, TikTok Kitchen, which will be our first with an ever-changing menu,” announced Robert Earl, VDC co-founder. TikTok Kitchens will be operating from existing restaurants and chains owned by VDS such as Bertucci’s and Buca di Beppo. The ghost kitchen service is unlike any other as they will use pre-existing kitchens to curate TikTok-sourced recipes.

Previously, VDC has seen success with MrBeast Burger. The virtual kitchen was first launched by MrBeast, the popular YouTuber towards the end of 2020. According to a Bloomberg report, MrBeast sold a million burgers in just three months. Right now, 1,500 MrBeast kitchens are present across the US, UK, and Canada.

What will they feature?

Initially, the kitchen will be featuring corn ribs, smash burger, baked feat pasta among other viral TikTok food trends. “Creators will be receiving credit for dishes within the menu and will be featured prominently throughout the promotion. To be clear, this is a campaign to bring TikTok foods to fans, not a venture into the restaurant business,” stated Elena Saavedra, TikTok spokesperson. The social media platform’s press release clarified about supporting the original creators. The recipes, tested in advance to ensure that they are efficient and practical in commercial and working restaurants. Once approved, restaurants will receive training materials, packaging, recipes, and more to ensure smooth sailing.
