Although the firm could not say how many individuals were impacted, a website that records outages like this revealed more than 3,900 incidences of customers reporting problems with Microsoft Teams across the nation on Downdetector.com. The website gets its information from many different places, including user reviews.

According to Reuters, the majority of Microsoft users were unable to send and receive messages, make phone calls, or use the other Teams application capabilities during this service interruption.
