The tech world might have some middle school drama to it after all. Silicon valley masters like Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey are bashing each other on social media. Here’s what happening.
Jack Dorsey takes a dig against Zuckerberg
It all began on Tuesday when Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter threw shade on Mark Zuckerberg. Dorsey made comments on the Facebook CEO’s announcements surrounding the metaverse. The Twitter CEO commented that the metaverse is “a virtual world owned by corporations where end-users were treated as citizens in a dystopian corporate dictatorship.”
Surprisingly, this is not Dorsey’s first time sniping at others on Twitter. Just a few weeks ago, he tweeted “How much?”. He publically took a dig against Facebook when it went through a major crash for several hours.
Elon Musk: The king of Twitter feuds
However, Twitter beef is not new to Elon Musk. Despite being the world’s richest, his long-term Twitter feud is the second on the long list. Recently, Elon Musk tweeted a silver or second place medal to Bezos. The tweet was in retaliation to Bezos’ tweet of how his firm did great despite the early troubles.
He also started a social media feud stating that Buffett should have invested in Tesla when Musk’s net worth was over that of Gates and Buffett combined. Earlier this year, Bill Gates agreed that he did not see Musk’s solutions as ‘real solutions’. He also added that he “is not a Mars person. I don’t think rockets are the solution.”
