How to connect your AirPods to your PC?

Pairing your Apple devices with non-Apple products is now simpler than ever. If you love your PC and AirPods, here’s how you can have the best of both worlds in less than five steps.

While Apple’s AirPods ‘magically’ connect with other devices, it is now just as seamless with your PC or android devices. The H1 chip in AirPods Pro and W1 chip in the original AirPods help you pair via Bluetooth as well.

Wondering how to connect your AirPods to a PC?

First, open the Devices settings on your Windows PC. You can find it in the Settings menu.

Now, toggle the Bluetooth button to the ‘ON’ position and add a new Bluetooth or another device. This option can be found on the top of your screen right after the ‘Add a Device’ window opens.

Open your AirPods case and keep the lid open while you press and hold the button on the back of the case. Do this till your device shows up on your PC’s ‘Add a Device’ page.

Click on your device and use them without any interruption.

What if they are not discoverable?

Once you have set up your OC, you can always find your Apple earphones there even if it gets disconnected. It will be under the Audio section and show up as soon as you power up your device.

However, if that fails, try closing your Airpods case. Repeat the connectivity test by holding on to the button once again. Remember to keep the ties open.
