Rajeev Chandrasekhar, India’s Union Minister for Electronics and Technology took to Twitter, urging iPhone users to get the latest update without delay. Additionally, CERT-IN, India’s Computer Emergency Response Team issued an advisory for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to get the latest updates.

Apple assured that they have addressed CVE-2022-32894, which can be potentially used for executing arbitrary codes with kernel privileges. The tech giant believes the exploit may have targetted current users. CVE-2022-32893 is another security vulnerability affecting WebKit and this update solves it. It also patched the Safari exploit termed CVE-2022-32893 affecting users of macOS Catalina and Big Sur. According to Apple, the exploit could be used for processing malicious web content. This could eventually lead to the execution of the arbitrary code. It also mentioned being aware of some reports suggesting active exploitation.
