The Women’s Premier League auction is scheduled for Monday, February 13, 2023, in Mumbai. According to reports, 409 players will be available for teams to bid on during the auction. According to the BCCI, they received a total of 1525 applications for women cricket players, out of which 246 Indian players and 163 international players were eventually picked. There are 14 international players and 10 Indian players among the 409 individuals who have registered for the auction at the highest base price of 50 lahks.

Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Shefali Verma, Alyssa Healy, Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine, Sophie Ecclestone, and Deandra Dottin are among the women cricketers who have set themselves a base price of 50 lahks. Furthermore, players from the Indian Under-19 T20 World Cup winning side have enrolled for the auction. A total of 5 teams will compete to acquire these players for their respective clubs, with each team having a total budget of 12 crores to bid on players.
