Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson shared highlights from his first training day in preparation for his July 20 fight against Jake Paul.
Tyson, who will be 58 years old at the time of the fight, has won 50 of his 58 professional matches, including his first 37 bouts.
From November 22, 1986, to February 11, 1990, he dominated the heavyweight division for almost 39 months, winning and regaining his titles nine times.
On the other hand, Paul, 27, has a 9-1 record and six career knockouts. In February 2023, he lost only by a split decision to Tommy Fury.
The 31-year age difference is significant. Even though Tyson’s professional career ended twenty years ago, he was once the most powerful man on the planet. Besides, he will soon be 60 years old, which raises questions about his suitability in comparison to Paul, who is significantly younger.
