1. January 1st, vs San Antonio Spurs
First day of the new year and LeBron James started it off in style. He added 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as the Lakers rallied to beat the San Antonio Spurs 109-103. It was also the first triple-double of the 2021 NBA season against the San Antonio Spurs. (riverbendresort.us)
Although he shot just 8-22 from the field, he was 3-7 from downtown and made all seven of his free throws. Also, seven of his 26 points came in the fourth quarter which became very handy as Lakers won a thriller with 10.
2. January 21st, vs Milwaukee Bucks
LeBron James scored his first 30-point game of the season. He dropped 34 points on an efficient 13-25 (52%) shooting from the field, including 6-10 from three-point range.
In the end the game was so close that LeBron James’ match winning performance put the Lakers upfront against Milwaukee Bucks. He dropped 12 of 34 points in the fourth quarter, scored a three-pointer with 1 minute remaining in the game. He also had eight assists, six rebounds, a steal and a block in the 113-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
3. January 25th, vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Returning home to face the Cavaliers for the first time since Nov. 21, 2018, LeBron James didn’t disappoint his fans and put on a show. He led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 115-108 win. Playing 38 minutes, he finished with 46 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks with a game-high plus-minus of +11.
He recorded two assists and two blocks in the final period that gave the team an advantage and took them to a victory with 25 of the team’s 28 fourth-quarter points. He also had shot at an efficiency of 19-26 (73%) and had a season-high seven three-pointers in that game on 63% shooting from beyond the arc.

4. February 8th, vs OKC Thunder
With one of the main players, Anthony Davis missing, someone had to take the responsibility and put on a match winning performance. As he always does, LeBron Jmaes raises his hand and takes the Lakers to a thrilling victory. A 36-year-old James played nearly 43 minutes of the game against the OKC Thunder at Staples Center.
The game was so close, but in the end the LA Lakers took over in overtime and smashed the Thunders one more time. James scored 28 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and two blocks. He had shot an efficient 11-22 (50%) from the field and scored 10 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. He was the highest +/- of all the starters with a +8.
5. May 19th, vs Golden State Warriors
It was one of the most viewed games of the year in a winner-takes-all game and the King didn’t disappoint his fans at all. James finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his sixth triple-double of the season. He made a long 3-pointer with 58.2 seconds remaining and took the Los Angeles Lakers to a 103-100 victory over the Golden State Warriors in a Western Conference play-in tournament game.
