PSG set to axe nine players to fund Kylian Mbappe’s contract: Reports

PSG is reportedly willing to sell nine-team players this summer to fund Kylian Mbappe’s new contract. According to MARCA, the club spent 1.25 billion euros on transfers between 2011 and 2020. But has only spent 62.5 million euros last year and 76 million euros this summer. PSG has made some new signings with the likes of Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG has already tied with its few important players including the likes of Neymar, Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas, Julian Draxler, and Juan Bernat to new deals. According to Marca, now PSG wants to secure Mbappe. Mbappe will be a free agent in 2022.

“The new signings have a winning personality. They have won many titles, but not at PSG. They will do everything possible to lift trophies,” said PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino recently.

According to the latest from Spanish outlet Marca, Kylian Mbappe plans to quit PSG on a free transfer and decides between Real Madrid and Liverpool.

According to the reports from ‘L’Equipe’, PSG plan to part ways with up to nine footballers. Donnarumma, Navas, and Sergio Rico will be the team’s three goalkeepers. So, Alphonse Areola will be allowed to leave this summer.

The reports also stated that Abdou Diallo and Thilo Kehrer are available for a transfer. While, Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye, and Rafinha Alcantara will all be allowed to leave.
