NFL Kicker Brandon McManus accused of sexually assaulting 2 flight attendants on team flight

Two women have filed a lawsuit accusing NFL kicker Brandon McManus of sexual assault during a team flight to London last September for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Incident details

Identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, the women served as flight attendants on the Jaguars’ chartered flight on September 28. According to the lawsuit, McManus allegedly “grinded” his clothed, erect penis against them during meal service. Additionally, Jane Doe 1 claims that McManus attempted to kiss her earlier during the flight.

McManus denies allegations

McManus, who recently signed with the Washington Commanders, denies the accusations. His attorney has strongly disputed the women’s accounts, describing their efforts to resolve the matter as met with “arrogance, ignorance, and stupidity.”

The plaintiffs assert that McManus’ alleged actions have caused them ongoing psychological and emotional distress. They are seeking over $1 million in damages from both McManus and the Jaguars and have requested a jury trial.

Attorney’s statement

“The allegations made in this lawsuit are very serious,” said the women’s attorney, Tony Buzbee. “We thoroughly vetted these claims and spoke to witnesses before taking on the cases. We will pursue this matter with the same tenacity for which we are known. It’s a shame that such conduct still occurs and happens far too often.”

The case is expected to draw significant attention as it unfolds, shedding light on the broader issues of sexual misconduct within professional sports.
