Major League Cricket, USA Cricket’s premier competition, will make its debut in the franchise-based T20 Cricket League domain. The Major League Cricket held its first-ever players’ draft on Sunday, March 19, in Houston, marking a significant step in that direction. The event was held at the Space Center Houston in NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
The elite Indian Premier League team owners have invested in or partnered with Major League Cricket teams. The Los Angeles franchise is owned by the Kolkata Knight Riders, while the Seattle franchise is owned by the Delhi Capitals. The Chennai Super Kings own the Texas franchise, while the Mumbai Indians possess the New York franchise.
