India vs Sri Lanka

India has already clinched the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, lead by 2-0. In the first ODI, it was total dominance by Men-in -Blue with blistering knocks from Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan. While in second India vs Sri Lanka ODI, Deepak Chahar’s heroic effort took India to a thrilling three-wicket win on Tuesday.

The Sri Lankans, meanwhile, would carry some confidence going into the 3rd ODI. After they asked some tough questions to India in the 2nd ODI. Wanindu Hasaranga would again be the key for Sri Lanka. Avishka Fernando had got a great start in both the ODIs but couldn’t convert it into a big one. However, the Lankan side will look to add one more spinner in the Playing XI, after the way 2nd ODI has panned out.

Will Varun Chakravarty get a debut?

With the series sealed, we could see some debutants from both teams. Varun Chakravarty/ Rahul Chahar could get a chance in the XI in place of Yuzi Chahal. Likewise, Sanju Samson/Devdutt Padikkal could also get a chance. With 10 points in the ODI super league at stake, 3rd ODI is by no means a dead rubber. And hopefully, we’ll get some competitive cricket in the final ODI.
