After losing the last Test match at Edgbaston, Team India clinched the T20I series 2-1 against England. The 3-match India vs England ODI series will start today. While the men in blue might have incurred a loss in the last game, they will be in high spirits with the team performances. Here is the match preview.

England will have an upper edge as the team has recently played the ODI series against the Netherlands. Meanwhile, Team India hasn’t played any one-day international games since February. After a long time, the Indian team will open with the iconic duo Dhawan and Rohit duo. They will be hoping that the skipper starts getting some runs. Virat Kohli is unlikely to play today’s game owing to a groin injury and hence, Shreyas Iyer could be a part of the squad. Surya Kumar Yadav’s sensational century in the last T20I will be a morale booster for the team.

On the other hand, England will look forward to Bairstow’s performance and will want Buttler to make runs at the top. England’s Test skipper Ben Stokes and ex-captain Joe Root will be back in the ODI team.
