Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan jumped two places to 16th after his good performance in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka while Virat Kohli remained at the second spot in the latest ICC ODI rankings issued on Wednesday. Babar Azam tops the list with 873 rating points. Rohit Sharma is in the third position with 817 points.
The rankings were considered based on the ongoing three-match series between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, the third Ireland vs South Africa match, and the first two ODIs between Sri Lanka and India.
ODI Rankings – Bowlers
Among the bowlers, Trent Boult tops the chart with 737 points. Followed by Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Chris Woakes, Mehidy Hasan, and Matt Henry. India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is 6th on the list with 683 points. Yuzvendra Chahal has moved up four places to the 20th spot after his brilliant performance in the ongoing Sri Lanka series. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga has jumped up 22 places and is placed 36th.
T20I Rankings- Batsmen
England batsman David Malan has gained the top spot yet again with 841 points. Babar Azam, who scored 118 runs in the three-match T20I series against England is second on the list with 833 points. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are in the 5th and 6th positions respectively.
Pakistan’s Wicketkeeper-batsman Rizwan has attained a career-best seventh position after aggregating 176 runs in the series. He has reached the Top 10 rankings for the first time in his career. Livingstone has taken a huge leap in the T20I rankings moving up 144 places to reach 27th position. The 27-year-old scored a blistering 43 ball ton against Pakistan in the first T20I. He was also named Man of the series for his incredible performance.
T20I Rankings- Bowlers
Among the bowlers, Tabraiz Shamsi, who has been going through a flying form, tops the list with 810 points. Followed by Rashid Khan with 719 points and Wanindu Hasaranga 693 points. Adil Rashid who took a four-fer against Pakistan in the third T20I is at the 4th position with 689 rating points.
