The six-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi has finally agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract. PSG has made a deal worth £25m per year after tax, plus bonuses.
On Sunday, during his farewell news conference when he was asked if PSG will be his next move, Lionel Messi said: “That is one possibility, to reach those heights. I’ve got nothing confirmed with anybody. I had a lot of calls, a lot of interested clubs. At the moment, nothing is closed, but we are talking about a lot of things.”

Thiago Silva
Silva is considered as one of the best defenders to have played for Paris Saint-Germain players. He joined PSG in 2012-2013 and played 317 games scoring 17 goals during his 8 season spell at Paris. He won a total of 22 titles with PSG. Silva was selected in FIFA FIFPro World11 and UEFA Team of the Year three times during his career with PSG. He has also won four consecutive Coupes de la Ligue and three consecutive Coupe de France with PSG. Silva was included in Ligue 1 Team of the Year in all five seasons that he has spent in France.
Safet Susic
Safet is considered as one of the all-time best Paris Saint-Germain Players. He joined PSG in 1982. Safet scored 85 goals and 95 assists in his 287 games for PSG. He won two major titles with the club between 1982 and 1991. He was also rewarded as Ligue 1 Foreign Player of the Year in the 1982-83 season. In 2010, France Football voted Sušić as Paris Saint-Germain’s best player of all time and the best foreign player of Ligue 1 of all time.
Paul Le Guen
Paul Le Guen played 344 games and scored 24 goals for PSG in his 7-year spell at the club. He won a total of 8 titles with Paris Saint-Germain including three Coupe de France, two Coupe de la Ligue, and UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in the 1995-96 season.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan joined PSG in 2012 and played a vital role in the PSG’s winning campaign between 2012 and 2016. He played 180 games and scored 156 goals across all competitions for PSG. He also won 12 titles with the Parisians including four consecutive Ligue 1 titles over four seasons. Zlatan also won the award for best Ligue 1 goal of the year in 2014. In the 2015-2016 season, he beat Carlos Bianchi’s club record (37 goals) with 38 strikes in a single league campaign.
Edinson Cavani
Edinson Cavani is undoubtedly, one of the all-time greatest players to have ever played for Paris Saint-Germain. He arrived at PSG in 2013 and went on to score 200 goals in 301 games. Cavani won 19 titles with Paris Saint-Germain. Cavani was also named Ligue 1 Player of the Year for the 2016–17 season. He also won the Golden Shoe in 2018.
