Jack Grealish joined Manchester City for £100m
The star mid-fielder Jack Grealish moved to Manchester City from Aston Villa with a whopping amount of £100m. The transfer fee breaks the record as Greahlish became the most expensive English player ever. Jack Grealish became the world’s sixth £100m footballer after Neymar, Mbappee, Griezmann, Coutinho, and Joao Felix. Also, Grealish to Manchester City was the first £100m transfer fee paid by an English club.
Romelu Lukaku joins Chelsea for £97.5m
Striker Romelu Lukaku returns to Chelsea on a five-year deal, 10 years after he first joined the club. Chelsea signed Lukaku for a club-record £97.5m from Inter Milan. Lukaku is the second-most expensive player in terms of British transfer fees. He scored 24 goals and 11 assists in Serie A last season and helped Inter Milan win their first Serie A title after 11 years.
Jadon Sancho joined Manchester United for £73m
Manchester United signed Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for £73m.

Achraf Hakimi joins PSG for £51.3m
Wing-back Achraf Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain from Inter Milan on a five-year contract. The 22-year-old helped Inter Milan to their first Italian top-flight title in 11 years. He scored seven goals in 37 Serie A appearances and made 10 assists in the 2020/21 season. Hakimi has already been impressive for PSG, with a goal and two assists in his first four games in Ligue 1.
