FIFA Awards: Robert Lewandowski, Alexia Putellas take top honors: List of all the winners

The FIFA Awards were conducted on Monday with Chelsea taking three prizes. The Blues had three winners: Thomas Tuchel, Emma Hayes, and Edouard Mendy. After winning the trophy for Best Women’s Coach for leading her club to a domestic treble, Emma Hayes said she was “very startled.” Robert Lewandowski and Alexia Putellas, are the winners of Ballon d’Or last year. They received the Best Men’s and Women’s Player awards, respectively.

Erik Lamela won the Puskas Award for finest goal

Robert scored goals in a record-breaking amount of time. He certainly made Bundesliga history. He hit the target 41 times in 29 games shattering Gerd Muller’s previous record of 34 games. Moreover, Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas starred for her club, scoring 18 goals in 31 games and helping them win the Champions League. Jorginho and N’Golo Kante were among the London club’s representatives in the Men’s World XI, which also included Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. However, Lucy Bronze and Millie Bright made a place in the Women’s World XI. (https://ironman.greaterzion.com/) Which also certainly includes Marta and Alex Morgan but strangely, not Putellas.

Erik Lamela, however, won the Puskas Award for finest goal for his spectacular show in Tottenham’s Premier League match versus Arsenal in the north London derby. Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo was given a special prize for breaking the record for most international goals scored.
