Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been added to India’s Test squad ahead of the fourth test match at The Oval. The BCCI confirmed on Wednesday that Prasidh has been added after the team management made the request.
BCCI has added fast bowler Prasidh Krishna to India’s squad for the fourth Test. Prasidh was on the standby list. And has been training and traveling with Team India right from the start of the tour.
This decision is also a sign that the team management is focusing on workload management. Hence, one of the fast bowlers is likely to get the rest in the fourth test. And one of Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur, and Prasidh Krishna should make it to the Playing XI.
Prasidh Krishna made his India debut in March this year
Karnataka fast bowler made had made his India debut in the ODI against England in March this year. He took four wickets in the game and helped India to a 66-run victory. He has played only three ODIs so far for the country. The 25-year-old has played only nine first-class games with 34 wickets by his name.
