Cristiano Ronaldo launches YouTube channel, shatters records and becomes fastest to hit 10 million subscribers

Football Legend Ventures into Content Creation

Cristiano Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, has embarked on a new chapter in his illustrious career. After dominating the football field for nearly two decades, Ronaldo has transitioned into the world of content creation by launching his YouTube channel, ‘UR Cristiano’.

In an astonishing feat, Ronaldo shattered a world record within mere hours of announcing his channel. He became the fastest individual to reach 1 million subscribers on the platform. The record-breaking didn’t stop there; within 24 hours, Ronaldo’s subscriber count soared to 10 million, setting yet another unprecedented milestone.

Already a social media powerhouse, Ronaldo boasts an impressive following across various platforms. He has 112.5 million followers on X (formerly Twitter), 170 million on Facebook, and a staggering 636 million on Instagram.

New journey unveiled

“The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” Ronaldo announced on his social media accounts on Wednesday, marking the start of his new venture.

Engaging content right from the start

To mark the launch, Ronaldo’s channel featured several engaging videos, including a teaser trailer, a fun quiz game with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, and a clip of the Portuguese footballer meeting his wax figure at Madame Tussauds.

Surpassing previous records

Previously, the record for hitting the 10 million subscriber mark on YouTube was held by Hamster Kombat, which took seven days to reach the milestone. Ronaldo’s channel has already surpassed the 13 million subscribers mark and continues to grow at an unprecedented pace.

As the veteran striker, currently playing for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, continues to break new ground on YouTube, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him shatter several more records in the days to come.
