Clients are constantly worried about sustainability in managing their company. It’s common sense – where do you want to end up? This can be challenging when you’re stuck at the starting line.” says Tyler King, CEO of global business and management consulting firm Assuras, Inc., who have made a name for themselves in the industry by virtue of their unorthodox methodologies for resolving internal business problems.
Assuras always starts from your current location and asks: What do we want? What are we doing? How long will it take us? And how will this work? King argues that it is best to look at all these factors, and then decide if this way is best. But what is most important to the company is defining where the client is presently located on the map. After all, a map is useless unless you know precisely where you are located.
The road map metaphor is a reference to Assuras’ order of operations when starting with a new client. Typically, consulting firms are hired by the executives at a company, and they begin by discussing the specific issues the company is currently facing. After being briefed by executives, the average consulting firm will work their way downward to fully address executive concerns.
According to Tyler King, Assuras does things differently though; For the first several weeks after engagement, says he, we essentially ignore the executive staff, and don’t discuss any issues with them that might cause bias.
During the first month, we get acquainted with all employees and contributors involved in accomplishing your company’s goals. Thereafter, they started to observe and understand where the problems lay which includes finding out about both customer and staff grievances. They also examined every step of the process along with performing several conferences with our executives. Ultimately, Tyler King and his group presented a journey map of this whole workflow which helped highlight all issues that are present. This is important so we can have an accurate understanding of what needs fixing; there will always be things to fix, but being able to identify exactly what they are gives us hope that they will someday disappear completely.
Strategies adopted by Assuras are uncommon in the world of business, but these strategies can provide successful results. Tyler King, CEO of Assuras and graduate from Harvard University’s prestigious program for leadership development, says we do things differently. He states that Assuras specializes in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies as well as our own unique blend which we’ve found to be the best. As a consultant and expert on various topics of leadership and organizational management, he brings years of experience coupled with a variety of degrees from leading educational institutions.
Assuras focuses its efforts on solving problems that are not only long-lasting, but also truly existent in the present moment. Their ambition is to serve as a guide for their clients through all phases of business and cater to any potential or future obstacles that may arise – which include not only managing current situations, but also offering guidance on how to overcome possible threats in the future.
It is clear that is consulting group really takes a new look on business practices in today’s modern world. COVID-19 was handled very maturely without extensive interruption because of their own planning within their organization. Assuras truly takes their motto to heart – together with their clients, they will move mountains!
