Luxury High-Rise in Texas Becomes Creative Space that Fueled Award-Winning Producer Jonathan Hay

The Victor, a luxurious residential high-rise community located in the thriving Victory Park neighborhood of Dallas, Texas served as a creative outlet for critically acclaimed record producer Jonathan Hay’s latest musical endeavor titled Wish You Were Jazz. According to Forbes, Jonathan Hay released five Billboard charting albums during an 18-month period, hitting more than 30 different Billboard charts in total topping numerous categories.

The Victor fully came into fruition in late 2021, providing an incredible amount of high-rise luxury apartments and penthouses to residents around the world. International developer Hines and their team of architects and designers built The Victor to mirror an art gallery with lavish features such as a honeycomb-shaped installation in its lobby, a sculpture installation titled Stretch and quartz countertops. This high-rise became the creative space worthy of a #1 Billboard artist.

Wish You Were Jazz was recorded up-in-the-clouds over a 10 week period with the best views that Dallas has to offer as seen through the space’s enormous floor-to-ceiling windows. Being in the inspiring high-rise with concrete floors makes it hard for noise to travel throughout the structure, giving Hay naturally phenomenal sounding acoustics. This upcoming release is the official follow-up to Follow the Leader (Reimagined As Jazz) which was Hay’s collaborative album with the legendary Eric B. & Rakim that hit #1 on the Billboard jazz charts; remaining in the top spots for 11 consecutive weeks. Wish You Were Jazz reworks songs to the genre of “nu-jazz” from the likes of Drake, Adele, Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, Rihanna, Lil Peep, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Run-D.M.C. and more.

Hay’s reimagined work has been endorsed by publications such as NME, Yahoo Finance, EDM.com, Rolling Stone, Variety, Spin Magazine, The Advocate, GRAMMY.com and many more. Collaborators of the forthcoming project include Matt Berman (Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle Records), Suge Jacob Knight (son of Death Row Records co-founder), 41x (J Patt from The Knocks), Diana Pagan (2Pac), Robert Ivan from Urban Jungle Records and more.
