Prince William, 42, has once again claimed the title of “world’s sexiest bald man,” surpassing major Hollywood icons in a survey that ranks bald public figures on their looks and popularity.
According to a recent poll conducted by Reboot, a digital marketing agency, the Duke of Cambridge beat out actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, former basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, and other well-known contenders in a list of the top 10 “bald studs.”
The survey tapped into internet search traffic and analyzed appeal indicators, finding that Prince William’s charm remains irresistible. “Bald men have stolen the hearts of millions of people around the world, from Stanley Tucci to Zinedine Zidane to John Travolta,” the Reboot team noted.
Strong search numbers and “golden ratio” scores for the Prince
Prince William’s allure, as reported by the study, is evident from search data: over 16,800 Google searches annually pair “Prince William” with terms like “shirtless” or “naked.” Additionally, his face scored a notable 72% on the “golden ratio,” a mathematical measure of facial symmetry, while his scalp received a 74% score for luminance. The prince also earned a near-perfect 9.91 out of 10 for his voice appeal.
Following Prince William in second place is Dwayne Johnson, known for his charismatic screen presence. Shaquille O’Neal, former NBA star, secured third. Legendary surfer Kelly Slater placed fourth, while comedian and actor Terry Crews and Danny DeVito rounded out the top five and six spots, respectively. Other celebrated bald icons on the list include Samuel L. Jackson, French soccer star Thierry Henry, actor Stanley Tucci, and Vin Diesel.
A new look, a family reaction
Last August, William made headlines for debuting a bearded look during a trip to South Africa. The Duke later revealed that his daughter, Princess Charlotte, had a strong reaction to the change. “Well, Charlotte didn’t like it the first time. I got floods of tears, so I had to shave it off,” he shared. “And then it grew back. I convinced her it was going to be OK!” As Prince William continues to make headlines, his popularity as a heartthrob proves he remains one of the world’s most admired bald icons, both in his role as a royal and as a style figure admired worldwide.
