An extra screen or monitor can be a lifesaver
A larger secondary monitor is an easy fix that can help reduce eye stress, increase productivity and make multitasking easier. While an extra computer monitor or portable monitor might be the obvious choice, it need not be as expensive. You can always convert your TV into a secondary monitor by using an HDMI cable or streaming via Bluetooth, Chromecast, Apple TV, etc. You can also convert your iPad or tablet into a secondary screen using applications like a duet, space desk, Splashtop, iDisplay, etc.

A sturdy, comfortable and clean desk is a fortune for productivity. Consider investing in a standing or convertible desk- if you hate sitting all day at your desk, work long hours or suffer from back pain. A sedentary lifestyle is also said to increases the risk of obesity, heart disease, blood pressure, etc. It can help you increase vigor, posture and give you an added sense of movement.
Additionally, a lap desk can be a great boon if you find yourself working from your bed or couch. It also saves your lap from the heated laptop surface.

Ensure security but don’t compromise on speed and organization while sharing your files. Make the best of Google Drive, OneCloud, Dropbox, etc., and share files via links. You can also integrate it with workspaces like Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Stay on top of your schedule and to-dos
Letting work pile up or procrastinating can be easy but, you can avoid this by boosting your productivity. Upgrade your digital calendar using tools like Asana, TickTick, Habitica, Microsoft To-Do, Any.do etc. These apps can make task organization easy and give multiple reminders, sync between platforms, track progress, etc.
Don’t let your coworkers see your messy room
During the work from home, virtual meetings are probably a part of your daily work life by now. And video calls are a great way to stay connected and find some normalcy in the current situation.
Consider using a custom background image or blurring your background for your zoom calls while your video is on to avoid messy backdrops or your family walking in once in a while.
