7 exercises that can help with weight loss

1. Walking

Walking

If you are a beginner or someone who stays too busy with work then walking is the perfect exercise for you. Taking a stroll for half an hour will not just help burn calories but will give you a bit of detox from the screen and some much-needed ‘me time’ too.

2. Jumping ropes

Jumping ropes

It is one of the easiest ways to work out at home without burning a hole in your pocket by buying heavy equipment. Jumping rope is a fantastic way to burn calories fast. 5. Weight training

Weight Training is obvious and the common choice for weight loss. It’s estimated that a 155-pound (70-kg) person burns roughly 112 calories per 30 minutes of weight training. It will also help you build muscle and studies have shown that weight training continues to burn calories for hours after working out.

6. Yoga

Yoga

Yoga is an age-old weight loss technique. This is a practice that combines physical activity and meditation. It doesn’t just benefit the body but gives peace to the mind too. Studies have shown that people who practice yoga at least once a week for 30 minutes lose weight and have lower BMIs.

7. Hiking

Hiking

Exercise doesn’t always have to be boring. Just like swimming, hiking is a fun and adventurous way to lose weight. It involves walking through uneven paths and steep mountainous regions. It helps you to manage your weight better and boasts of having an amazing cardio workout.
