Project Blueprint mastermind and tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson, best known for his research on longevity, has declared that the rate of his biological aging has significantly reduced. He said a recent analysis revealed that due to the slowing down of biological aging, his birthday now comes every 19 months. Simply put, it takes him 19 months to get one year older, strictly biologically speaking.
In a post on the social media site X, Johnson wrote, “My new record: 0.64 pace-of-aging. My birthday is now every 19 months. Previously I built Braintree Venmo, now I build human, with a goal to slow and reverse aging. Nutrition is a power law of anti-aging. This is what I eat every day. You can too.”
“I’ve been trying to reduce my speed of aging, and I just achieved a personal best – 0.64. That roughly means that for every 12 months that pass, I only age for 7.6 months,” Johnson said in a video message.
Project Blueprint is focused on devising a rigorous daily protocol that eventually slows down the aging process in an individual. According to the 46-year-old entrepreneur, the program costs him $2 million yearly, which has been able to reverse his epigenetic age, a marker of cellular aging.
He has to adhere to a strict diet plan, which includes 100 daily supplements and calorie-controlled food. Recently, Johnson revealed that high-flavonol, pure cocoa, free from heavy metals, are also included in his daily diet.
So far, the entrepreneur claims, he has been able to reverse his epigenetic age by 5.1 years.
