This 24 Karat gold plated Nintendo Wii was custom-made for Queen Elizabeth II herself. The world-famous Wii console was made in 2009 by THQ as a promotional item.

The seller, Donny Fillerup, bought the golden Wii in 2017 and kept a low profile for two years until his interview for the show “People Make Games” Since then, the console has gathered over 2 million views on YouTube and has several press articles under its belt.

Price

Fillerup has now listed it on eBay for $300,000 but, experts have estimated it at $1 million. Fillerup plans to get a place of his own when the golden Wii sells for list price.

Whether the queen ever played a game on the console?

It is hard to say; THQ has said that it delivered the console to Buckingham palace in 2009. But queen loves playing the Wii for sure. When Duchess of Cambridge brought her husband Prince William a Wii for Christmas in 2007, the queen was so thrilled that she joined them for a game of Wii bowling.
