The year 2023 has kept PlayStation owners occupied. Elden Ring, Gran Turismo 7, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga were among the year’s critically acclaimed releases. The PS5 library is constantly growing, implying that the best is yet to come for Sony’s current console. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 continues to receive love from cross-generational releases, giving those who have yet to upgrade much to look forward to.
Which PS5 titles will be available shortly on store shelves around the world? What PS4 games are on the way? The forthcoming calendar includes every PS5 and PS4 project that has been announced, as well as their North American release date if one has been announced.
The upcoming PS5 and PS4 games

FromSoftware will return to its longest-running brand
Even if August lacks a blockbuster title on the scale of Diablo 4 or The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, games such as Atlas Fallen, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, and Sea of Stars are significant releases in their own right. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was also launched, and it is an excellent addition to the asymmetrical multiplayer environment.
Atlas Fallen by Deck13 is a hack-and-slash RPG that differs from the developer’s Soulslike output. FromSoftware will return to its longest-running brand with Armored Core 6, the first entry in the series in nearly a decade, in August 2023. Fans of Dark Souls and Elden Ring should be aware that Fires of Rubicon will be a completely different beast from the company’s previous efforts, but the previews have been generally quite positive, and Armored Core is a stable brand. Anyone looking for a Soulslike should go into Blasphemous 2, a sidescrolling indie Metroidvania with a nasty art design.
Tower of Fantasy made its PlayStation debut in August 2023, providing customers with another free-to-play action RPG to enjoy alongside Genshin Impact. While the pre-launch reviews for EA’s Immortals of Aveum have been divided, the magic-focused game has the potential to be a fun trip.
