Adin Ross, an American streamer and Kick co-owner, had previously announced that he would be bringing the Supreme Leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un onto his live show. It turned out to be a ploy to increase viewership on his YouTube channel. Ross conducted a live broadcast interview with a fake Kim Jong Un, attracting over 300,000 live views at its peak.

After days of teasing, Ross had a live interview with a phony “Kim Jong Un” on Kick, breaking viewership records. Ross’ broadcast increased moments before the fake Kim appeared, according to Dexerto, as tens of thousands piled in at the last minute.
According to Stream Charts, this is now his all-time peak concurrent viewership with over 333,506 fans watching along live.
Ross, according to Dexerto, interviewed a professional impersonator known as Howard X on Cameo, a website where you may hire actors to recite personalized messages. Ross urged Andrew Tate to join him on the stream.
“This man fooled the whole internet”
Ross’ act divided the internet. Some on the internet dubbed it an “outrageous” move, while others praised it and requested Ross to give the editors a “raise.”
“How none of us saw this coming is absolutely outrageous,” one YouTube user said.
Another person commented, “I still can’t believe people thought it was going to be the real Kim.”
“This man fooled the whole internet,” a third person said.
Meanwhile, the real Kim Jong Un recently returned from Russia and conveyed his “heartfelt gratitude” to President Vladimir Putin.
Kim’s journey of Russia’s far east, which began on Tuesday, has fueled Western fears that isolated, nuclear-armed Pyongyang could supply Moscow with weaponry for its conflict in Ukraine.
