Young Sheldon’s creator Steve Molaro debunks one common hypothesis concerning Georgie and Mandy’s pregnancy. After a one-week hiatus, the Big Bang Theory spin-off returned to continue dealing with the fallout from Georgie’s romantic antics. Now that Mandy’s pregnancy has been revealed, the Coopers must determine how to proceed.
Georgie dropped out of school in season 5 of Young Sheldon to work full-time. In the midst of all of this, he began a new relationship with an older woman. But, in order to make things work, he pretended to be 21 years old even though he was only 17 years old. Georgie finally admitted to his deception, but their relationship ended as a result. However, now that Mandy has learned that she is pregnant, they must maintain their relationship.
Last few episodes left of season 5
CBS is anticipating how the Cooper parents would respond to this shocking news in the next episode. Molaro confirms this to TVLine but implies that this possibility may be addressed in some way in The Big Bang Theory spinoff.
“No, but obviously, Mary’s religion always plays a factor in these types of stories and will continue to not on that particular level, but more on how they should handle this moving forward. It’s certainly one of the [storylines] that will take us through the end of Season 5,” he said.
Only a few episodes of Young Sheldon Season 5 are remaining. Apart from Georgie’s story, the rest of the year will be dominated by George‘s cheating fiasco. Fans will recall that he began to have feelings for Brenda at the start of season 5. However, that plotline got lost in the muck with everything else that has been going on with the Coopers. Georgie has two ex-wives, according to the Big Bang Theory conclusion, albeit none of them was named. It’s now unclear whether Mandy is one of them.
