Woman accuses rapper Snoop Dogg of sexual assault in a lawsuit
Snoop Dogg

A woman has filed a civil lawsuit accusing Snoop Dogg of sexual assault and abuse. The case was filed on Wednesday. It was just days before Snoop Dogg has to perform with other hip-hop musicians near Los Angeles at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The woman was Jane Doe who is a dancer, model, host, and actress. She had formerly worked together with him. The woman contended that he entered a toilet she was using. He forced her to perform oral sex and masturbated in front of her. She said in a lawsuit filed in the Central District of California against Calvin Broadus aka Snoop Dogg.

“Plaintiff found herself thinking about her job security if she displeased Defendant Snoop Dogg,” the complaint said. “Plaintiff felt pressured by defendant Snoop Dogg due to his dominance. Also, his position of power over her, including his ability to hire and fire her. Ensuring that she would never be in this industry again.”

Snoop Dogg’s representatives did not respond to requests for acknowledgment right away. In her lawsuit, the woman alleges she was sexually assaulted earlier in the evening by a Snoop Dogg employee. According to the complaint, the parties struggled to resolve the conflict through mediation. Moreover, the litigation was in records on the same day that the rap mogul made the declaration about acquiring Death Row Records. It is the label that enabled him to restart his career.

“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” the 50-year-old said in a Wednesday statement.

Snoop has a history of running afoul of the law, including drug and firearms charges. In 1993, the rapper was under questioning with first-degree murder in connection with a gang-related homicide. However, he was not guilty and thus free of the charges against him. His public image has certainly been shady in recent years. He now appears on mainstream television and in advertisements, among other things.
