Ever since the announcement of the prequel of Games of Thrones, the fans have been patiently waiting to get more glimpses into the new world. The wait now comes to an end. HBO has released a new trailer of House of Dragon. The series will depict a story of the past, nearly 200 years before the Game of Thrones. House of Dragon will portray the reign of the Targaryen dynasty.
The teaser brought back memories for fans as it featured scenes from the Game of Thrones series. It included elements such as the painted table at Storm’s End that doubled as a map and the Great Hall at King’s Landing. Fans have voiced their excitement for the impending prequel. However, some are excited yet skeptical and hope that it will not disappoint them like Game of Thrones’ eighth season did.
HBO will release House Of the Dragons on August 21, 2022
The new material is officially referred to as a teaser trailer by HBO, although the network previously broadcasted an official teaser trailer in October. The new clip has Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, and Paddy Considine play significant roles. The Iron Throne is occupied by King Viserys I Targaryen, who rules the Seven Kingdoms. Meanwhile, Prince Daemon awaits his turn at the throne. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, their younger sister, has her sight set on the Iron Throne as well.
The audience would witness a bloodbath and violent action in the “ugly game” of seizing the crown. The teaser trailer was uploaded with the caption, ‘History does not remember the blood. It remembers names.’ Before the release of the trailer, the character posters were shared by the makers of the series. HBO will release House Of the Dragons on August 21, 2022.
