India’s largest music label and film studio, T-series, has become the first channel in the world to reach 200 million subscribers on YouTube. The network has over 383 million subscribers and 718 billion views with a total of 29 channels across languages and genres.
T-Series announced the milestone on Twitter, writing, “World’s NO. 1 Youtube channel, T-Series, has reached 200 million subscribers, becoming the 1st channel in the world to ever reach this milestone!” It’s a proud moment for the entire country to see an Indian channel at the top of the world’s YouTube rankings. #TSeriesHits200MilSubs” Sara Ali Khan also posted a video on her Instagram stories congratulating T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar. She shared the news in her own unique style by posting a video featuring Bhushan.
