According to the Spanish news outlet Marca, pop diva Shakira is building a wall between her and ex-husband Gerard Pique’s parents’ house to divide the two estates. Both houses are, however, joined in some parts, which appears to be an attempt to divide the two.
A cement mixer was witnessed operating around Shakira’s house in Barcelona by a TV camera.
Shakira’s decision came after multiple disagreements between her and the footballer’s parents in recent weeks. A black mannequin facing Pique’s parents’ house was apparently placed on the terrace, despite Pique’s mother’s request that it be removed.
There’s also the matter of Shakira’s new song being played so loudly inside her home that it can be heard next door.
Meanwhile, her most recent release is supposed to be a swipe at ex-partner Pique and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, 23.
Among these, an old video from 2012 has resurfaced on social media in which Shakira can be seen insulting Montserrat Bernabeu, Pique’s mother, for her style advice after she suggested Shakira cut her hair short.
“Mother-in-law, I’m never going to listen to your style advice again!” Shakira said in that video
The Colombian singer and Pique, who has played for Barcelona, Manchester United, and the Spanish national team, divorced last year following a 12-year romance.
Following that segment, the conjecture about the Colombian’s bad family environment with the Spanish began, and even the singer placed on his house’s balcony a real-size witch playing loud music in order to scare away her in-laws.
But it appears that Shakira has had a massive wall built to separate her property from that of her in-laws so that they can no longer see her.
