Seventeen's Vernon to release debut solo mixtape 'Black Eye' on Dec. 23

Vernon, a rapper, and vocalist from South Korea will drop his first solo mixtape in December.

The mixtape Black Eye will be released on December 23 by the K-pop singer, a 24-year-old member of the boy band Seventeen.

On Thursday, Seventeen tweeted the information along with a teaser picture of Vernon standing on a car hood.

Vernon will be the third Seventeen member to drop a solo mixtape, following Woozi’s Ruby in January and Hoshi’s Spider in April 2021.

In 2015, the singer independently published “Lotto,” and in 2021, “Bands Boy.”

Vernon, Hoshi, Woozi, S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Wonwoo, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, and Dino make up the entire band Seventeen. The group received an Asia Artist Awards victory this week.
