SAG Awards 2022 nominations: Squid Game creates history, full list here

SAG Awards 2022 nominations

Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens announced the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award 2022 nominations for this year. The winners will be announced on February 27. Among the many nominees, Netflix’s original show Squid Game has gotten everyone’s attention. At the SAG Awards, the show created history by being the first non-English-language (and first Korean) series to be nominated. Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci and Jane Campion’s Power of the Dog each received three nominations.

The SAG Awards are returning to an in-person event after going virtual last year due to the pandemic. This year’s ceremony will be at the vast Santa Monica Barker Hangar and will follow COVID safety measures. The performance has been staged at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles since 1997. Helen Mirren will be honored with a lifetime achievement award at this year’s SAG Awards. The show will air live on TNT and also TBS on February 27 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
