Travis Scott arrested in Paris for alleged altercation with security guard
Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Travis Scott was arrested on Friday at the luxurious Georges V hotel in Paris for allegedly engaging in violence against a security guard, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office.
The 33-year-old rapper was taken into custody after an incident in which the security guard reportedly attempted to intervene in a dispute between Scott and his bodyguard. Authorities have confirmed that a criminal investigation has been launched.
French media outlets have reported that Scott was intoxicated at the time of the altercation.
Attempts to reach Scott’s representatives for comment were not immediately successful.
This marks Scott’s second arrest in recent months. In June, he was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing following a disturbance on a yacht in Miami Beach, Florida, according to local police.
This is a developing story.
