Rahul Koli, child actor in India's Oscar entry 'Chhello Show', dies of leukemia at 10

Rahul Koli, who played a character in the Gujarati movie “Chhello Show” by Pan Nalin, has died after a protracted battle with leukemia. Koli was ten years old.

Koli reportedly passed away on October 2 in an Ahmedabad hospital.

Rahul’s father said, “On Sunday, October 2, he had his breakfast, and then, after several episodes of fever in the hours that followed, Rahul vomited blood three times. Thereafter, suddenly, without warning, my child was no more. Our entire family is in shock.” Adding to it, he said, “after we complete his final rites on October 14, we will watch his movie “last film show” together.

“He was very happy and often told me that after October 14, our lives would change. But he left us before that,” bereaved father Ramu said informing Rahul’s demise.
