Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jones took to Instagram to share happy news about their family. The fan favourite, the adorable couple are now parents. The duo welcomed a baby via surrogacy, yesterday. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” read their statement.
Actors like Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Awkwafina, and Mindy Kaling, among others, sent their good wishes to the couple. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra met at the 2017 Met Gala when they were both representing Ralph Lauren. In 2018, they walked down the aisle at the Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Chopra teased in an interview with the Sunday Times earlier this month that she wanted a “cricket squad” of kids. “A cricket squad, no less! I’d like to have as many children as possible “She laughed at the prospect of having 11 children, enough to field a team. “Is there a cricket team? I’m not convinced.” Chopra had already proposed prominent evidence about the couple’s kid during Netflix’s Jonas Brothers Family Roast, which premiered in November 2021, according to fans.
Priyanka Chopra laughed at the other brothers’ households at the roast. Bringing up that she and Nick were the only couple without children at the moment. “Nick and I are anticipating… to get drunk tonight and sleep in tomorrow,” Chopra remarked, addressing the brothers and their wives.
