Box office: Rishab Shetty’s Kantara enters 300 crore club worldwide

The Indian movie “Kantara” from Hombale Films is invincible at the box office as it is making good money globally. The movie has now made a whopping gross of Rs 305 crore ($32.7 million) after netting an astounding Rs 49 crore in the Hindi market.

After 25 days in a single language, ‘Kantara’ is the first South Indian film to play in 50+ theaters. It is also the first Kannada film to be shown in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Not only that, but the Kannada language version of the film has also been a success in the United States.

Kantara now holds the top spot on IMDb’s list of the 250 most popular movies currently being made in India.

The movie was released on September 30 in Kannada and October 14 in Hindi, respectively. Rishab Shetty wrote and helmed the movie. Produced under the banner of Hombale Films by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda. Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, and Kishore Kumar G play important parts in the movie.
