The Oscars will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel in 2023. The late-night show host will take on the hosting responsibilities at the 95th Academy Awards for the third time.
According to Vanity Fair, Kimmel has confirmed the information in a statement.
“Being invited to host the Oscars for the third time is either a great honor or a trap,” joked Kimmel, before adding, “Either way, I am grateful to the Academy for asking me so quickly after everyone else said no.”
Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, the show’s executive producers, and creators, later expressed their enthusiasm: “We’re super thrilled to have Jimmy score his hat trick on this global stage.” “We know he will be funny and ready for anything!”
The famous Academy Awards were previously presented by Kimmel in 2017 and 2018.
The Academy opted to skip having a host for a few years after Kimmel hosted the 90th Academy Awards.
The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles will host the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on March 12, 2023.
