Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s daughter came home after spending 100 days in the hospital. Sharing the first picture of the baby, Priyanka wrote a lengthy letter. She explained that her daughter was born prematurely and had to spend several days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The couple was grateful to the doctors and hospital staff for taking care of the baby. In the post, they gave special mentions to each other for getting together through the tough time.
Nick Jonas wrote, “Babe, you inspire me (in) every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.”
“Our next chapter begins now”
While Priyanka wrote, “There is no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama (Nick Jonas). I love you.”
She also wrote a big note for her baby girl which stated, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” the couple wrote. “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.” “Our next chapter begins now. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in December of 2018. Chopra had discussed the possibility of adding a baby to their busy family dynamic in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. The couple welcomed their daughter via surrogacy in January.
