Netflix to stop working on 60 older TV models next month: Check if yours is on the list

Netflix to stop working on 60 older TV models next month: Check if yours is on the list

Starting next month, Netflix will no longer be available on as many as 60 older models of smart TVs, even for those with active subscriptions. This significant change will primarily impact televisions around ten years old, suggesting it’s time for an upgrade if your TV is affected.

Which models are affected?

The models losing access include 16 different Sony TV models and two generations of Apple TV, along with 42 additional Sony TV models. These changes are scheduled for July 24, 2024, with the final 16 Sony models losing access on July 23, and second and third-generation Apple TVs on July 31.
