Matthew Perry and fiancée Molly Hurwitz have broken up and parted ways. The People has announced that Perry has broken his engagement with Hurwitz.
He said to the magazine: “Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them,” Perry said, in a statement. “I wish Molly the best”. The Friends actor had been in a relationship with Molly, a literary manager for quite some time prior to making it official last year. Maybe some things really do not work out.
Perry, 51, and Hurwitz, 29, started dating in 2018. They spent the 2019 holidays together. Then their engagement was in November 2020. He told People at that point: “I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.”
The actor hadn’t shared any photographs of Hurwitz via online media until December 2020 when he posted two photographs of her wearing his limited-edition apparel collection propelled by Friends to help Covid-19 relief.
Before dating Molly Hurwitz, Matthew Perry was in a six-year relationship with Lizzy Caplan. They parted ways in 2012.
Also, the sad information on Perry and Hurwitz’s engagement came after a few days of the profoundly expected Friends reunion. It saw Perry reuniting with his previous costars from the hit NBC sitcom. We wish well to Molly Hurwitz and Matthew Perry.
