The 2022 Grammy Awards will be held on Monday, January 31, in Los Angeles, and will be televised live on CBS. Since the 2021 Grammy, a number of changes have occurred within the Recording Academy and its management of Grammy. In April, the institution announced the termination of its practice of secret-committee nominations in the Big Four categories, as well as the creation of two new prizes for Msica Urbana Album and Global Music Performance. Find out the list of 64th Grammy Nominations.
With her Best R&B Performance triumph for “Black Parade” last year, Beyoncé set a new record for the most Grammy won by a female artist. Following the announcement of the 2021 nominees, The Weeknd stated his desire to boycott the Grammy in the future when “After Hours” and “Blinding Lights” garnered no nominations. Nonetheless, he was honoured three times this year.
